DEADHORSES has spent the last few years pushing the creative boundaries in music videos, pop promos and documentaries. His trademark style is a combination of heavy stylised edits, unconventional camera work and textures to create a body of work that is rich in nostalgia whilst feeling urgent, hand-crafted and singular.

He grew up watching video nasties and ‘giallo’ films, drawing inspiration from the expressive, unique and colourful visual styles embraced by both genres. He has carved out a distinctive style all their own, defined by an impressionistic approach to character and narrative combined with a unique editing style and a keen eye for stylistic detail. A visual style which he developed through shooting, editing and doing VFX work on each project he takes on.

He has directed a host of music videos, for artists such as Sam Fender, Jade, Becky Hill, The Libertines, Hak Baker and Joalin. Their work blends raw energy with strong imagery, making each video visually distinct and immersive, building a visual world around each artist they work with.
